In that case . . .I come bearing a small offering of fics:
Robin Hood:
My Dear Old Friend by Majatta on ff.net. Character death, lots of, but handled in a gentle way. I can't help it, I'm a huge sucker for all the angst, and the Robin and Much friendship.
And I'm reccing ravenya03's S3 rewrite because while it is written in script format, she has such a vision and scope of a way to believably fix the end of S2 and S3, that it certainly deserves a lot of credit. First part here: Alternative ending to Lardner's Ring and continued and linked on from there here: Welcome To Sherwood
And a Sherlock/House crossover: In The Genes by alice_day "A diagnostician and a detective must join forces to solve a mystery that threatens both their lives." Set post TTG, with a bit of creative license as to how House and Sherlock can be in the same universe. Well researched, and written so disturbingly in character that I nearly passed out from the awesomeness of it. Saddly, it is a WIP, and it has been quite a while since the last update. I'm hoping for the next chapter soon.
