In all honesty, it's not so much that I don't like Sirius as I don't understand why everyone else loves him so much.
I think there's an interesting (and very tragic) side to his story, but he never grew on me. I didn't find him very mature or responsible, and the more I learned about him, the less I liked him.
For example, there's his attempted prank on Snape, i.e. sending him to the Shack when Remus is transforming there. Imagine if that prank had come to fruition! Sirius may not have cared for Snape, but Remus is supposed to be his friend, and he didn't have any qualms about doing such a thing to his friend.
