The Pioneer Woman is now possibly my most favorite foodie blog.

Edited to included Kayotic Kitchen, which wins not only for its brilliant photographs, but for having a kiddie recipe section.

That's Kay's blog- she's amazing, isn't she?

I really love her stuff. When I'm not busy gnawing on my own hand out of sheer jealous. Just saw her blog today- someone wants to hire her to shoot a cookbook and she can't make the drive or leave her kid to do it. I'd be on the phone booking a sitter and a plane ticket, were it me, but she's very devoted to her son. :)

Yeah, I found her recipes and her photographs just stunning. I even read her little riff on what camera worked best for her. I was a little bummed out that she shoots everything in natural light. My kitchen has possibly the world's tiniest window, so even if I had her eye for composition (and her camera), my pictures would still be terrible.

I do understand her devotion to her kid though. It's hard for me to even leave mine in daycare every morning. :)

She's a pic-maven. I do what I can with what I've got, but she's got a hardcore camera that makes me cry with envy.

I think that's what I'm going to do with my DW space. Spam it with pics of food. Posted at lunch time, of course.
